Mrs. Lafleur has been in education for 26 years. She began her teaching career in 1993. Mrs. Lafleur received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development & Family Studies with a minor in Elementary Education as well as her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Cultural Studies from the University of Houston. Mrs. Lafleur’s education experiences have all been in the Aldine Independent School District.

Mrs. Sonia Crockett has been in education for 17 years. She started her education career in
Spring ISD and transitioned to Aldine ISD in 2015. Her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work was
obtained from Bethel University. Later she attended Lamar University, where she received her
Master of Education in Administration. Currently, she is pursuing her Doctorate of Education in
Ethical Leadership from the University of St. Thomas. Her expected graduation is May 2024.

Mrs. Kennedy has been in education for 21 years. She began her career in 2001 in Houston ISD and joined Aldine ISD in 2020. Over the course of her career, she has served as a classroom teacher, teacher development specialist, district literacy coach, and now assistant principal. She obtained her Bachelors of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Bennett College in 2001. Later, she obtained her Masters in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University in 2007.
