Cheryl Lafleur, Principal       


Ms. Lafleur has been in education for 26 years. She began her teaching career in
1993. Ms. Lafleur received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development &
Family Studies with a minor in Elementary Education as well as her Master’s
Degree in Educational Leadership and Cultural Studies from the University of
Houston. Ms. Lafleur’s education experiences have all been in the Aldine
Independent School District.


 Diana Muniz, Assistant Principal

orza-Muniz was named assistant principal of Calvert Elementary in July 2015. She is truly proud of her Aldine roots.  Ms. Borza-Muniz graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1998 and later received her bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2003 from University of Houston.  In 2014, she earned her master’s degree in educational leadership from Sam Houston State University.  Ms. Borza-Muniz began her teaching career as a fourth grade teacher at Orange Grove Elementary and transferred to Bussey Elementary in 2012 as language arts interventionist and skills specialist.  Ms. Borza-Muniz has proudly spent all of her career in education with Aldine ISD.
