Cheryl Lafleur, Principal       
Cheryl LafleurCheryl Lafleur has been in education seventeen years. She received her bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Elementary Education as well as her master's degree in Educational Leadership and Cultural Studies from the University of Houston. She began her teaching career in Aldine I.S.D. in 1993 and was assigned to teach second grade at Goodman Elementary. After teaching second grade for half a year, Mrs. Lafleur was asked to teach fourth grade at Goodman Elementary. She was then moved to the position of fourth grade skills specialist in 1997. After serving as skills specialist for two years, she was offered the position of assistant principal (Instructional Staffing Unit). Mrs. Lafleur was named assistant principal at Goodman Elementary in 2001. Mrs. Lafleur's educational experience have all been in the Aldine I.S.D.

Diana Muniz, Assistant Principal

MunizDiana Borza-Muniz was named assistant principal of Calvert Elementary in July 2015. She is truly proud of her Aldine roots.  Ms. Borza-Muniz graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1998 and later received her bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2003 from University of Houston.  In 2014, she earned her master’s degree in educational leadership from Sam Houston State University.  Ms. Borza-Muniz began her teaching career as a fourth grade teacher at Orange Grove Elementary and transferred to Bussey Elementary in 2012 as language arts interventionist and skills specialist.  Ms. Borza-Muniz has proudly spent all of her career in education with Aldine ISD.
